Surrey name a strong team to play the Aboriginal XI

On Thursday 7 June, the Surrey Championship take on an Aboriginal XI at the Kia Oval and Cricket Australia have named a strong squad for the tour. More details on the tour can be found here.

The game commemerates 150 years since an Aboriginal team cricket team became the first sporting team from Australia to tour internationally, when the tourists also played Surrey. The game, which also forms part of our own 50th anniversary celebrations, starts at 4.00. Entry to the ground is free and the Long Room and bar will be open.
